THREE RIVERS — The Niles girls cross country team finished second at the Big Hill Invitational Tuesday.

Marshall won the team championship with 32 points. The Vikings were second with 82 points and host Three Rivers third with 85.

Freshman Taylor Altergott finished fifth overall with a time of 23:19.

The Niles boys team finished sixth. Marshall grabbed the team title with 54 points. Mendon was second with 57 and Three Rivers third with 67.

Freshman Jeremiah Kendall led the Vikings with a 26th place finish and a time of 20:56.
