Brandywine’s Cole second at East Kentwood Invitational

The Brandywine tennis team finished eighth at the East Kentwood Invitational in its season opener Saturday.

Perennial state powerhouse Traverse City St. Francis won the team title with 21 points. Grand Rapids Catholic Central finished second with 19 points.

Brandywine had two points.

The Bobcats’ Caleb Cole was second at No. 4 singles. He was defeated by Victor Casler of Traverse City St. Francis 6-2 and 6-2.
