Ronald “Ron” Vanderboegh, 73, of Niles, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015.

He was born on May 17, 1942, to the late Harold and Hazel (Smith) Vanderboegh, of Niles.

On June 25, 1982, he wed the love of his life, Corinne Meyers at a ceremony in Niles. Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family and friends. Ron had a passion for restoring antique tractors and attending tractors shows.

Ron is survived by his wife, Corinne; daughters, Christie (Ryan) Paquette, Lisa (Jason) Rotzien, Shelley (Michael) Ziebarth; son, Jeff Vanderboegh; brothers, Phil (Wanda) Vanderboegh and David Vanderboegh; sister, Lynn (Gene) Spitzer, three grandchildren, one great grandchild and special brother in-law, Dick Noble.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dan, Bob and Larry Vanderboegh; sister, Kay Noble.

For family and friends, a graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery in Berrien Center, on at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 8.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Great Lakes Hospice.
