Juanita M. Abbott, 83, of Niles, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at West Woods of Niles.

Juanita was born on Sept. 22, 1931, to the late Phillip and Dorothy PeGan in Mishawaka, Indiana. On Dec. 9, 1951, she married Eugene Abbott at a ceremony in Roseland, Indiana. Eugene preceded her in death 1990.

She is survived by her children, Bill Abbott and Connie Hamilton; sister, Darlene (Buddy) Stanley; brother, Vern PeGan; grandchild, Mindy (Niel) Ruthven and great grandchild Robby.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Dorothy PeGan; husband, Eugene Abbott; brothers, Phil, Ray, Dick, Karl and Bobby and sister, Donna.

Graveside services for Juanita will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at Rose Hill Cemetery, Oronoko Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
