The waters of Indian Lake across the street weren’t the only liquids flowing at the Blackmond’s Farm Saturday evening, as the Lee Memorial Foundation hosted its fourth annual Beer and Wine Tasting event that evening. The hospital fundraising organization managed another sellout for this year’s charity event, selling 350 tickets in advance of the weekend activity.

In addition to having a chance to sample the wares of 12 breweries and wineries from across southwest Michigan, attendees were able to bid on more than $5,000 worth of auction items, which included sports game tickets and a package of grilling equipment.

Organizers said they were pleased with yet another record-setting attendance for the event, and are hoping to raise more than $16,000 for the foundation’s capital campaign through it.
