A Dowagiac couple is in custody following the execution of a search warrant of their residence on Haines Street by authorities with the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team Wednesday, according to a news release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Brent and Tiffany Gillesby, 43 and 41 respectively, were charged with multiple meth-related crimes, including delivery and possession of methamphetamine and operating a meth lab during their arraignment hearing Thursday afternoon in Cass County District Court. They are being held at Cass County Jail on $100,000 bond.

During Tuesday’s search of the residence, authorities discovered three one-pot methamphetamine labs, methamphetamine trash, hazardous chemicals used in the production of methamphetamine and methamphetamine. The warrant was executed by authorities with the county drug team following an ongoing investigation into the manufacture of methamphetamine.

The couple was previously arrested in March of 2011, after a search of their home on W. Wayne Street uncovered 25 one-pot labs and drug paraphernalia, which county prosecutors called one of the largest meth operations in Cass County history. The couple both received prison sentences for their crime.

Wednesday’s incident continues to be under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this case, or, any other criminal activity is asked to call the Cass County Sheriff Tip Line at 1-800-462-9328 or contact the Sheriff’s Office through the Anonymous Web Tip Line at WWW.CCSO.INFO
