Visiting Bridgman defeated No. 1-ranked Buchanan 2-1 and 9-8 in BCS Athletic Conference West Division baseball Thursday.

Jarrett Thomas took the loss for the Bucks in the opening game.

Gavin Morris, Josiah Smith and Darren Shearer all doubled for Buchanan.

In the nightcap, Shearer had a double for the Bucks.
