BERRIEN SPRINGS — Dowagiac dropped a pair of Wolverine Conference West Division baseball games to host Berrien Springs Thursday.

The Chieftains were defeated by the Shamrocks 8-0 and 2-1.

Eric Walker had a double for Dowagiac in the first game, while Matt Smith doubled in the nightcap.
