Kevin B. Latislaw, 57, of Niles, passed away unexpectedly, but of natural causes, on Friday, May 1st, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Health System in St. Joe, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 28, 1958 in Dowagiac to George E. and Billie Jean (VanOrman) Latislaw.

Kevin graduated from Niles High School class of 1976. He worked for Bamar Plastics in South Bend for over 25 years, ending his successful career as CEO. Over the last year he worked as an inspector for Actia Corporation in Elkhart, Indiana. In his free time Kevin enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, and tinkering in his garage, lovingly known as the family “Mr. Fix-it”. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching NASCAR, Chicago Blackhawks and Cubs and an avid University of Michigan Football fan. His friends and family will greatly miss his crazy sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his father George Latislaw.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Billie Jean Lenz of Niles, two children, Greg and Karla of Niles, his girlfriend, Rebecca Perez of Niles, three brothers; Steven (Margie) Latislaw of Niles, David Latislaw (Jim Gentry) of Newnan, Georgia, and Barry (Rosemary) Latislaw of Niles, a sister, Debera (Daniel) Finch of Niles and many nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel in Niles on Tuesday, May 5th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Brenda Gordon officiating. An interment will take place at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
