Dowagiac tennis picks up third win in seven days

ST. JOSEPH — The Dowagiac tennis team is on a bit of a roll these days.

The Chieftains picked up their third victory in their last five matches with a 4-3 win over Lake Michigan Catholic Thursday.

Dowagiac and LMC did not have a No. 4 singles match.

Dowagiac’s Olga Dickson-French won at No. 2 singles, while the Chieftains won three out of the four doubles flights to earn the victory.

Kaley Brogan and Kelly Rafferty were winners at No. 1 doubles, while Lexi Chorba and Luda Dickson-French won at No. 2 doubles.

Hailee Green and Abby Brizendine were winners for the Chieftains at No. 3 doubles.
