Dowagiac swept by Plainwell

PLAINWELL — Visiting Dowagiac was swept by Plainwell in Wolverine Conference non-divisional action Tuesday.

The Trojan defeated the Chieftains 7-5 and 5-4. The second game lasted just five innings due to darkness.

Mack Charles took the loss for Dowagiac in the opener. Brenden Dudley, Daquan Brooks and Austin Jones combined to allow just five Plainwell hits.

In the nightcap, Mason Horjara suffered the loss. He and Nate Ward allowed just three hits.

Brenden Dudley doubled for the Chieftains.
