Cass County 4-H’ers read more than 30,000 pages

Several area 4-H members stepped up to the fourth annual “4-H is on Fire to Read” challenge put on by the Cass County 4-H Youth Development program. In celebration of March is Reading month, ten youth members read a combined 30,184 pages.

Members from local clubs, 4 Kids 4-H Club, Country Trailblazers, Flaming Youth, Jones Rough Riders, Kids-n-Kids, Legacy, and M-40 Hustlers participated in the reading challenge. Madison Suseland received the award for reading the most pages at 11,302 pages totaling 35 different books.
