Bobcats win own tennis invitational

The Brandywine tennis team easily defeated runner-up Buchanan to win its own invitational Saturday at Plym Park.

The Bobcats swept all eight flights to score 32 points. The Bucks finished with 20 points. Coloma was third with 17.

New Buffalo was fourth with nine points.

“A very good team performance, especially by Eishaa, who only last three games all day, and by Rachael and Alyssa, who won all their matches 6-0 and 6-0,” Brandywine coach Joe Marazita said. “Our experience showed today.”
