Judith R. Timmons, of Sister Lakes, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, after an extended illness. In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held and cremation has taken place. Clark Chapel and Cremation Services in Dowagiac is serving the family.

Judith was born on Feb. 7, 1941, in St. Joseph, to Arthur and Ruth Warmbein. After graduating high school she worked at Heath Company in St. Joseph. In 1962, she married Charles Timmons, and four years later they relocated to California.

While there, she worked for many years as an Instructional Aide in a local elementary school, and later as a bookkeeper in a department store. In retirement, she and Charles returned to Michigan in 1994, where she enjoyed community involvement through her participation with several ladies groups and her love of gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Timmons; daughter, Terri Heinz; grandsons, Robert and Anthony Alvarez; her sister, Priscilla (Ron) Goodline; a special aunt, Margaret Rhode; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Silver Creek United Methodist Church or the Keeler United Methodist Church.
