BRIDGMAN — The Brandywine boys team captured the Bridgman Invitational Wednesday.

The Bobcats scored 139 points to easily outdistance runner-up Eau Claire, which finished with 118.5 points. Watervliet was third with 116.

Eau Claire captured the girl’s portion of the meet with 129.5 points. LaLumiere (Indiana) was second with 108 and Watervliet third with 90.

Brandywine was seventh.

Andrew Duckett was a four-time winner as he captured the long jump (19-7.5), 110 hurdles (15.87), 300 hurdles (42.0) and was a member of the winning 1,600-meter relay team along with Matt Kline, Andrew Boocher and Dayan Schau.

That squad posted a time of 3:51.0.

Boocher also won the high jump with a height of 5-8.

Brandywine’s Emily Pedzinksi won the 800-meters with a time of 2:41.2.
