July 31, 1941 — March 31, 2015

Carolyn Lee Reese, 73 of Dowagiac, went home to be with the Lord with her daughters by her side on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Carolyn was born July 31, 1941 in Berrien Center to the late George Bradley and Marie (Wagoner) Bradley. Her father passed away four years later in a trucking accident. Her mother Marie then married William Klumbis who raised Carolyn. She worked at Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital as a Dietary Aid for 33 years before retiring at the age of 66. She was an active member at Victory Tabernacle in Dowagiac and was very strong in her faith. Carolyn was a very loving mother; she enjoyed spending time with her family and her loving friend Jean Diamond, who was like a sister.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Reese-Ward of Cassopolis and Kristen Reese-Judd of Dowagiac; two brothers, Richard Bradley of Niles, and Ronald (Sherry) Klumbis of Niles; father, William Klumbis; six grandchildren, Nicholas Rossow, Nathanael Ward, Gavin Judd, Nathan Judd, Seth Ward, and Jenna Ward and adopted grandchild, Tony Green.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, George Bradley, mother, Marie Klumbis , and brother, LeRoy Bradley.

Funeral service for Carolyn will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Victory Tabernacle, Dowagiac.

Visitation will be three hours prior from 3-6 p.m. Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
