Jo (Crouch) Marose, 86, of Winona Lake, Indiana passed away peacefully Monday, March 23, 2015 in her home. She was born on June 14, 1928 in Summitville, Tennessee to John and Hessie (Allen) Crouch.

She was united in marriage to Arthur C. Marose on Nov. 27, 1956, in South Bend, Indiana. A Tippecanoe Lake resident for the past 43 years, Jo was also a former resident of Warsaw, Indiana and Niles.

Jo graduated from Niles High School in 1946 where she was the captain of the cheerleading squad.

She was employed as a Licensed practical nurse for Doctors Lang and Freidman in South Bend. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and also attended Warsaw Community Church.

Jo was active in the community where she volunteered for Kosciusko Community Hospital Auxiliary, a Fundraising Captain for the Kosciusko Community YMCA, Team Captain for the Kosciusko County United Way and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Jo was a member of the Tippecanoe Lake Country Club where she was an avid golfer on the Ladies 18 Hole Golf League, Tennis League and Bridge Club. Furthermore, she was a member of the Tippecanoe Lake Property Owners Association and the Highland Woods Country Club of Bonita Springs, Florida.

Survivors include her husband Arthur C. Marose of Winona Lake; daughters Kim (Pete) Morrison of Hinsdale, Illinois and Kathy Marose of Indianapolis, Indiana; sons Kevin (Barb) Marose and Kelly Marose both of Warsaw. In addition, grandchildren Ellie, Ben, Abby and Nate Morrison and Kyle, Ryan and Katie Marose survive. Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday; March 28, 2015, with a Celebration of Life to follow at noon officiated by Pastor Denny Wilson. Interment will be private.
