Oct. 30, 1940 — March 23, 2015

Caryl A. Boyer, 74, of Buchanan passed away at Lakeland Hospital on Monday, March 23, 2015.

Caryl was born on Oct. 30, 1940, to the late Arthur and Virginia (Eichenberger) Samson in Bainbridge Township, Michigan. She was one of four children growing up in the Samson household. After graduating from Buchanan High School Caryl went on to attend Lake Michigan College where she earned her Associates Degree. She later retired from Clark Equipment where she worked for many years in the finance department.

Caryl was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her two daughters Martha (Leo “Chuck” Jr.) Goss of Perry, Ohio and Susan (Rodney Maurice) Boyer of Niles, Michigan; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren and siblings Dorothy (Bill) Hess of Buchanan, Michigan, Arthur (Marlene) Samson of Galesburg, Michigan and Alan (Galynn) Samson of Vernon,

Texas.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home in Niles at 11 a.m.
