Feb. 27, 1929 — March 19, 2015

Mary Jane (Smeltzer) Chorba Davidson, 86, passed away at Cass County Medical Care Facility on Thursday, March 19, 2015.

Mary was born on Feb. 27, 1929, to the late Homer and Lois Smeltzer in Dowagiac, Michigan. Mary was also an avid Notre Dame Fan.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Davidson, son Ernest Chorba, daughter Loree Roberts and one grandchild.

She is survived by her son Joseph (Phyllis) Chorba, Jr. of Dowagiac, five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes she has been cremated and will be interred next to her husband at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Niles.
