It is time once again to rock out for a good cause.

On Saturday, Rock for the Cure Michiana will hold a benefit show to raise money for Shelly Gray, a Michiana resident who is fighting an aggressive form of breast cancer. The event will include live music, food and non-alcoholic drinks from 8 p.m. to midnight at Pizza Transit, which is located at 215 E. Main St., Niles.

Those who attend will be treated to live music from several area bands, including All My Sins Remembered, Half Fiction, South of Sorrow and Unquiet Eddy.

Anyone can attend.

A $10 cover charge is good for all-you-can-eat pizza, drinks and live music.

In the past, Rock for the Cure Michiana has raised upwards of $1,100 at each event. Donations can also be made online at gofundme.com/gaqjjk.

Rock for the Cure is dedicated to helping local people through music, art, business and community.

The last Rock for the Cure event took place at the Niles Skate Park in August of 2014, raising money for the Niles-Buchanan Relay for Life.
