January 2015 Challenge help raise $25,590 for food pantry

The Edwardsburg Food Pantry received a total of $25,590 from the January 2015 Challenge, thanks to the donations of the Edwardsburg community and particularly a generous donor that assisted in bringing in more funds by matching up to $10,000.

This total donation allows EFP to continue its work in assisting Edwardsburg neighbor’s with their food needs.

“We appreciate all of the Edwardsburg community’s donation in the past and hope we can continue to have your support in improving the life’s of our neighbors in the future,” Stan Mason, of the EFP, said.

Donations of food may be brought directly to the pantry during regular pantry hours 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the lower level of Our Lady of the Lake Church or anytime by using the drop-off boxes inside the social hall entrance. Additional donation locations are Martin’s Granger Store located at the exit of the main building and Edwardsburg Post Office on the north side of the entrance area.

Monetary donations may be sent to the EFP central office location at Our Lady of the Lake, 24832 US-12, Edwardsburg, MI 49112.

Edwardsburg Food Pantry provides food for those that qualify, per U.S. government economic requirements within the Edwardsburg School boundary. EFP is a tax-exempt organization allowing donations to be tax deductible.
