The Edwardsburg Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated another successful year with its annual dinner March 4 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

Former chamber president Martha Ireland stepped in for interim president Tim Tancey, who was ill and unable to attend the dinner.

Financial Officer Meryl Christensen told the crowd the chamber ended the year in good shape and that the chamber had already collected dues from many of its members.

Several teachers and students from Edwardsburg High School gave a brief presentation about “Young Entrepreneurs.”

They will be competing in Young Entrepreneurs Day sponsored by the Edward Loew Foundation in April.

They were followed by Hope United Methodist Church Pastor Jeff Reese, who was the evening’s keynote speaker.

Reese talked about “motivating vision.”
