Edwardsburg advances to finals with an easy victory

COLDWATER — Isaac Vite scored a game-high 21 points to lead Edwardsburg into the Class B District finals at Coldwater Friday night.
The Eddies (17-5) defeated Wolverine Conference rival Three Rivers (4-17) 75-53 to advance to the championship game against another league foe — Sturgis.
The Trojans (12-9) advanced to the finals with a 47-44 victory over host Coldwater Wednesday night.
Edwardsburg jumped out to an 18-7 lead after one quarter and extended it to 39-19 by halftime.
The Eddies outscored the Wildcats 36-34 in the second half.
Besides Vite’s output, Edwwardsburg got 14 points from Dante Razzano.
Cam Cottingham and Johnel Stewart both scored 10 for Three Rivers.
The championship game is set for 7 p.m. Friday night at Coldwater High School.
