Sept. 8 1939 — March 7, 2015

Lottie Mae Swan, age 75 of Adrian died Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Hospice of Lenawee, Hospice Home.

She was born Sept. 8, 1939, in Niles, to Edward Victor and Lottie Mae (Banicki) Okonski. On Jan. 12, 1980, in Adrian she married Francis “Fritz” Duane Swan. He preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 2001.

Lottie was an avid bingo player and game channel watcher. She also loved games on the computer where she played Pogo. She also enjoyed feeding the birds. Lottie loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Lottie is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Mae (Kevin) Muck of Adrian, Susan Marie Devereaux and Mary Ann Jacobs both of Niles; a brother Eugene “Boyke” Okonski of Mishawaka, Indiana; two sisters, Marjorie Morrical of Mt. Airy, North Carolina and Dorothy Hart of Niles; and grandchildren, Zachary Tyler and Ashley Nichole Devereaux, Kevin Muck, Jr. and Jennifer Muck; great grandchildren, Brendan Muck, Cassidy and Keegan Edmonson, Amethyst Muck and Eoghan Warden; and her special companion Norman “Red” Suydam.

At Lottie’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
