VICKSBURG — Jackson Gaideski led four Edwardsburg players in double figures as the Eddies defeated host Vicksburg 55-50 in the first round of the Class B District Tournament Monday night.

Gaideski had 13 points, while Isaac Vite finished with 12, Derek Pierce 11 and Dante Razzano 11.

The Eddies (16-5) now advance to the semifinals Wednesday at Coldwater where they will take on Three Rivers (4-16).

Edwardsburg led 13-11 after one and 26-23 at the intermission,

The Eddies were able to open up a nine-point (44-35) advantage heading into the fourth quarter and then held off the Bulldogs, who wrap up the year at 9-12.
