Two arrested in drug bust

A Cassopolis man and woman are in custody, following a search of residence located in Calvin Township by county authorities last week.

Tonya Tangeman, 36, and Michael Harrington, 50, were charged with manufacturing/delivery of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house during their arraignment in Cass County court, which took place on Friday.

Tangeman was also charged with possession of methamphetamine, while Harrington with possession of marijuana.

Their arrest stem from a search of a residence located on 19000 block of Northrop St., executed by members of the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team Thursday evening. During their sweep of the house, the officers discovered methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as labs to manufacture the former.

Tangeman and Harrington are being lodged at the Cass County Jail, with their bail set at $35,000 and $25,000 respectively.
