Brandywine

Brandywine kindergarten registration is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at the Merritt Elementary School located at 1620 LaSalle Ave., Niles.

Children are eligible for Kindergarten for the 2015-2016 school year if they are five years of age by Sept. 1.

Parents should bring their child’s official birth certificate (not hospital), immunization records, the name and telephone number of their child’s doctor, proof of residency, and telephone numbers and names of relatives or friends for emergency contact information.

 

Buchanan

Buchanan Community Schools will be holding its free preschool/kindergarten roundup from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 at Moccasin Elementary School.

Roundup for preschoolers will be held in the preschool wing, while roundup for kindergarten students will be held in the school’s gym.

Paperwork is expected to take between 20 and 25 minutes to complete.

People must bring proof of income for preschoolers, the child’s birth certificate, immunization record and proof of Buchanan residency.

All students who will be five years old on or before Sept. 1 are eligible for kindergarten. Students who will be four years old on or before Spt. 1 are eligible for preschool screening.
