Jean Ann Kolski, 87, of Niles, Michigan died on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Buchanan Meadows Living Center in Buchanan, Michigan. She was born on Sept. 23, 1927, in South Bend, Indiana to Zygmunt and Hattie (Hosinski) Kolski, who preceded her in death.

Jean retired as Assistant Director of Investor Services from the former Associates Corporation Of North America after 37 years of service. She was with the initial group that relocated the corporate headquarters to Las Colinas, Texas in the early ‘70’s.

Surviving family includes her sister, Elaine Delinski of Niles, niece Janet (Don) Miller of Niles, nephew David (Sonya) Delinski of Niles, and grand-nephew Brock (Kathleen) Delinski of Sedona, Arizona.

Jean enjoyed spending time with her family, tending her flowers, and sewing. Jean’s strong devotion to the Catholic faith was a constant source of comfort for her.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Jean Kolski will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Niles by the Rev. Thomas King, C.S.C. of Saint Mark Catholic Church in Niles. Committal Rites will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Niles.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday at the church, beginning at 10 a.m. Contributions in memory of Jean may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Arrangements were made at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles. www.halbritterfunerals.com
