Vanessa Lorraine Fry, 52, of Dowagiac, passed away at home on Sunday, February 15, 2015 with her family by her side.

Vanessa was born on September 16, 1962 to George and Jo Ann (Hayes) Holmes in Wickenburg, Arizona. After graduating from high school Vanessa earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Management. She was a radio broadcaster for many years.
Vanessa is preceded in death by her mother Jo Ann Holmes and survived by her father, George Holmes; daughter Vincenza Fry of South Bend, Indiana; three grandchildren; and siblings George (Zena) Holmes of Mundelein, Illinois, Vernon Holmes of White Pine, Tennessee, Vincenza (Ronald) Ferguson of Dowagiac, Michigan, Roger (Barb) Holmes of Germany, Jordan Holmes of Saginaw, Michigan and Amanda Holmes of Jacksonville, Florida
In keeping with Vanessa’s wishes she has been cremated and her family will be holding a graveside service in the spring.
