Tina Marie Frey, age 54, of Cassopolis, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, in Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born March 22, 1960, in Dowagiac to Richard and Christine (Ranieri) Groves.

She married Mark Leroy Frey Jan. 24, 1986, in Cassopolis, Michigan. He survives. Tina was preceded in death by her parents.

Tina was passionate about crafts, especially sewing and custom embroidery. As a young woman, she was in beauty pageants and professional kart racing. She was a champion at Michiana Kart Club.

Tina will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Mark Frey of Cassopolis; one daughter, Kailey Wade of Cassopolis; one son, Michael Frey of Elkhart; one grandson, Hunter Wade; one brother, Joseph Groves of Niles.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway St., Cassopolis, with Sister Martha Cooper officiating.

Mrs. Frey’s remains will be laid to rest in Reames and Norton Cemetery in Cassopolis.

The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Frey’s name to the family.
