Buchanan falls to South Haven in overtime

SOUTH HAVEN — Host South Haven outscored Buchanan 8-5 in overtime to pick up a 61-58 non-conference boys basketball victory Tuesday night.
The two teams went back-and-forth all night and were deadlocked at 53-53 at the end of regulation.
Buchanan (8-7) trailed 17-13 after one, but took a 27-24 halftime lead over the Rams (6-5).
South Haven reclaimed the lead (41-39) after three quarters only to have Buchanan outscore it 14-11 in the fourth quarter to force overtime.
Alec Washegesic led South Haven with 18 points. James Smith added 15.
Josiah Smith tied for game-high honors with 18 points. Dustin Grey finished with 10.
