Bobcats now 15-1 after win over Beavers

EAU CLAIRE — Visiting Brandywine pitched a shutout in the opening quarter an ran away with a 53-13 non-conference girls basketball victory over Eau Claire Monday night.

The Bobcats (15-1) led 29-0 after the first quarter and 37-2 at the half.

Brandywine, ranked No. 5 in Class C, took a 46-4 advantage into the final quarter.

Makenna Hartline led all scores with 13 points for the Bobcats, who also got nine points from Makena Bowen and five points each from Michaela Hartline and Brooke Smith.

Michelle King had seven points for Eau Claire, which falls to 4-10.
