Brandywine, Bucks each have one champion

Brandywine and Buchanan each had one individual champion in the inaugural BCS Athletic Conference Wrestling Tournament Saturday.

Bronson, which was undefeated in dual matches, easily won the tournament title with 160 points. Mendon was second with 138.5 and White Pigeon third with 134.

Brandywine finished fourth, Cassopolis fifth and Buchanan sixth.

Matt Strozewski of Buchanan won the 119-pound title, while Corbin Eckenburger of Brandywine captured the 145-pound crown.

Cassopolis’ Tymari Brown (33-2) won the 215-pound championship.
