Bobcats take down Bison 59-34

NEW BUFFALO — Host New Buffalo scored as many points in the first quarter as it did in the entire game the last time it faced Brandywine.

The outcome, however, did not change for the Bison as the No. 5-ranked Bobcats rolled to a 59-34 BCS Athletic Conference West Division victory Friday night.

Brandywine (13-1, 8-0 West) led just 10-7 after one quarter, but exploded for 23 points in the second to take a 33-16 halftime lead.

The Bobcats increased their advantage to 51-23 heading into the final quarter.

Sisters Makenna and Michaela Hartline combined for 26 of Brandywine’s 59 points with Makenna leading all scorers with 16.

Anna Bardusk had 12 points for New Buffalo.
