Gondrezick’s 40 points to much for Vikings

BENTON HARBOR — An extraordinary performance from Benton Harbor senior standout Kalabria Gondrezick led the Tigers to a 62-48 SMAC West Division victory Friday night.
Gondrezick scored 40 of her team’s 62 points in a 62-48 win over the Vikings. She carried her team to victory after sister Kysre Gondrezick went down early in the game with an injury.
Niles fell behind by as many as 18 points, but cut the lead down to four, but would get no closer.
Jazmin Brann led Niles with 17 points and Elyse Zimmerman tallied 12.
