Edwardsburg girls get second win of the season

Host Edwardsburg used a big second half to pick up its second win of the season Tuesday night.
The Eddies outscored Three Rivers 26-13 in the second half to earn a 52-32 Wolverine Conference West Division girls basketball victory over the Wildcats.
Edwardsburg (2-8) also picked up its first West Division victory of the season in five tries.
The Eddies led just 13-12 after the first quarter, but opened up a seven point (26-19) lead by halftime.
Savannah Dixon led all scores with 25 points, which included half of the Eddies’ eight 3-pointers.
Katelynn Rogers, who also had four triples, finished with 14 points.
Krishanna Carter and Arionne Fowlkes both had 10 points for the Wildcats, who are now 3-8 overall and 2-5 in the West.
