Bobcats rope Mustangs for eighth win of the season

THREE OAKS — Visiting Brandywine held River Valley to 14 first half points on its way to an easy 65-36 non-conference boys basketball victory Friday night.

The Bobcats (8-3) outscored the Mustangs (1-8) 18-8 in the first quarter and then poured in 20 points in the second period to make it 38-14 at the half.

Andrew Boocher and Andrew Duckett both scored 10 points, while Austin Knapp added nine and Hunter Slaughter eight.

Gabe Zeiger led all scores with 12 points for the Mustangs.
