Ruth Ann DuComb Bragg, 66, passed away on Monday, Jan. 5, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

Ruth Ann was born on Jan. 13, 1948, in Dowagiac, to Richard Milton Staley and Charlotte Grace (Hodgson) Staley. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her children, Chad DuComb of Mishawaka, Doug DuComb of Mishawaka, Nathan (Ashley) Bragg of South Bend and Kelley Bragg of Mishawaka; four grandchildren, Tanner and Tyler DuComb, Carson Bragg and coming soon, Baylen DuComb, siblings, Sandra (William) Kroepal of Cassopolis, MI, Robert (Nancy) Staley of Dowagiac, MI and Sharon (Michael) Buck of South Bend.

Ruth Ann made friends everywhere. She had family and friends on her mind and in her heart with every breath of every day. Ruth Ann was a daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, nana, a mother-in-law and someone’s “wonderful.” She always put herself second in any and all situations. She was a prankster at heart and never without hugs and kisses galore. She loved her profession as a beautician for over 30 years and would always say she never worked a day in her life. Her beauty shop was a social gathering for many, was extremely kid friendly, and never boring for sure. Ruth Ann made people happy, it was genuine! She was loved by all and be will missed by all. We will all be together again. “Don’t Blink.”

Visitation will be on Friday, Jan. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Memorial service at 7 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
