Robert L. Loeding of Dowagiac, Michigan went to be with his Lord on Dec. 30, 2014, at his home after an extended illness.

He was born in Detroit, Michigan to the Late Howard and Emma Loeding on Oct. 16, 1936. He was also preceded in death by his brother Daniel Loeding and his sister Marie Warden.

He was married on Jan. 1, 1959, to Grace Drader who survives at home. He is survived by two sisters, Joyce Heide of Missouri, Dorothy Loeding of Iowa; sons, David Loeding of Ormond Beach Florida and Dwight and his wife Trudy Loeding of Dowagiac, Michigan.

Bob also has many cousins, nieces and nephews and other family members that he loved dearly and a best friend that was with him through thick and thin since age 12, Arley “Bud” Magner and his wife Ruby “Janie”.

Bob served in the Army, was an avid motorcyclist, and a woodworker who could fix or build anything he set his mind to.

Bob served as an elder in the Community of Christ Church for many years and touched the lives of many people with his ministry.

Bob will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and church.

Services honoring Bob’s life will be on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 3 p.m. with visitation one hour prior in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
