Quick start leads to easy win for Bucks

A quick start led host Buchanan to an easy 62-31 non-conference boys basketball victory Tuesday.

The Bucks raced out to a 19-8 first quarter lead and were never headed by the Shamrocks, who trailed 34-13 at halftime.

Tyler Flynn had a game-high 22 points to lead the Bucks, who also got 14 points from Josiah Smith.

Berrien Springs, which did not have a single player in double figures, was led by T.J. Jones’ nine points.
