Fifth Third promoted Bonnie Morgan to Private Bank Associate in the Fifth Third Private Bank.

In her new role, Morgan will work as part of the Fifth Third wealth management team in serving clients throughout Southwest Michigan.

Morgan brings nearly 25 years of customer service and management experience to the Private Bank.

Most recently, she was the customer service manager and assistant financial center manager at a Fifth Third Banking Center in Battle Creek. Prior to joining Fifth Third, Morgan was the creator and president of Ice Cream Ecstasy, Inc., where she oversaw more than a dozen employees as well as the company’s marketing, human resources and accounting responsibilities. During her eight years with Ice Cream Ecstasy, Morgan developed an operating model where customer service was the company’s vehicle for growth.

Outside of her role at the Bank, Morgan is active member of the Southwest Michigan community. Her past and present involvement includes serving as treasurer of Lakeview Middle School PTA and as a board member of What a Do Theatre. She also served as a volunteer learning assistant for Lakeview area schools for more than a dozen years and provided financial training to Life Recovery programs for more than five years.

“Bonnie has a long track record of listening to clients and asking the right questions to fully understand their needs,” said Ron Foor, community president of Fifth Third Bank in greater Kalamazoo. “It’s this integral curiosity that makes her the perfect fit for the Private Bank. Bonnie demonstrates that meeting the needs of her clients is a top priority, and we’re excited to welcome her to the Private Bank team.”
