Douglas A. Brousseau, 65

Douglas A. Brousseau, 65, of Edwardsburg, died suddenly on Jan. 1, 2015.

Douglas was born in Wyandotte, Michigan, on Jan. 4, 1949, to the late Ted and Dorothy Brousseau. On March 5, 1971, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Clauss, who survives.

Also surviving are: his brother Ted (Brenda) Brousseau, Jr., his children Benjamin (Hollie) Brousseau, Aimee (Toddd) Becker, Nathan Brousseau, Chantelle (Kevin Harris) Brousseau, and Samantha Brousseau, and his grandchildren: Madelyn Brousseau, Jakob Brousseau, Brody Woods, Chase Becker, Eloise Becker and Harper Harris.

Douglas enjoyed watching Notre Dame football, boating and spending time with his family. Douglas was the heart, soul and center of his fun and loving family and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, located at 24832 US-12, east, Edwardsburg, followed by a memorial mass at 11 a.m., with Father Joe McCormick, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edwardsburg Food Pantry at 24832 US-12, Edwardsburg, MI 49112.
