Sandra Lynn ‘Sandy’ Clubb, of Niles

Sandra Lynn “Sandy” Clubb, age 72 years of Niles, Michigan died at 2:31 a.m. on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles following a brief illness.
She was born on November 14, 1943 in Sterling Heights, Michigan to Ted George and Elna Margaret (Jorgensen) Kaye. She has lived in Niles since 1965, and was graduated from Lake Michigan College. Her entire career as a Social Worker was with the State of Michigan, retiring from the Department of Human Services. She also owned and operated the Beachcomber Resort on Barron Lake.

Sandy was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Niles. She enjoyed flower gardening and caring for her community and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Elna Kaye, and by a brother, James Ted Kaye.
Surviving family includes an Aunt, Evelyn (& Kenneth) Culling of Royal Oak, Michigan; several nieces and nephews, and a great family of friends.
Services for Sandy Clubb will be at Noon on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Joseph Liss of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Sandy may be made to The Salvation Army of Niles.
