Libby A. Hill, 68, residing in South Bend, passed away at 9:25 am Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 in Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 6, 1946 in Batesville, Indiana to the late James and Libby (Brooks) Wilson.
Libby graduated from Orleans High School in Orleans, Indiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Indiana University, Bloomington. Libby moved to the Michiana area in 1986 and worked for several banks as a trust officer for 30-plus years prior to retiring.

Libby is survived by her daughter, Cassy (Steve) Beitler of South Bend; and granddaughters, Kayla and Ella Beitler, also of South Bend.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Wen Lum and the nursing staff of the seventh and 10th floors at Memorial Hospital for their care and kindness during Libby’s stay.
Per Libby’s request, there will be no public services. Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
