Patricia Louise Parker, 66, of St. Joseph, Michigan passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.

A Celebration of life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Jim Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Keeler Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Township Lions Club. Patricia was born Dec. 15, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois to Herbert & Helenmarie (Grove) Grassow. She graduated from Carl Schurz High School in Chicago. Patricia was a homemaker, keeping a busy schedule caring for her three boys. Being blind most of her life, she was a huge inspiration to the blind. Patricia was very involved with the community and was active in the Salvation Army, church and the Lions Club. She enjoyed traveling, light houses, Round Lake, and baking, and especially loved the holiday season. She also enjoyed listening to country music and attended many concerts.

Patricia is survived by her sons Chris Parker of Dowagiac, Rob (Erika) Parker of Dowagiac and Mike Parker of Watervliet; grandchildren Colin and Ethan Parker; sister Donna (John) Heinzl of Palatine, IL; brother Herb (Donice) Grassow of Paw Paw; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her leader dog, Kelly.
