Beverly K. Linn, 62 of Dowagiac passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan.

Beverly was born Nov. 18, 1952, in Farwell, Michigan to William and Lucy Easlick. She married Rolland Linn in Cassopolis on Sept. 2, 2006. She worked several years at Creative Foam in Dowagiac and most recently was a manager at Save-A-Lot.

Beverly loved to fish and be on the lake enjoying the water. She also loved watching fireworks and enjoyed family gatherings around an open campfire telling stories. She loved to cook and there was always delicious food available at her home when people stopped by. Along with playing cards with family and friends, she loved working puzzles. She had a great sense of humor and one of her favorite sayings was, “watch yourself, bucko!” Her love of music included 50s and 60s songs and she loved Dean Martin, Patsy Cline and ABBA and she loved Karaoke. She was a huge Detroit Tiger’s fan and knew more about the Tigers than most avid sports fans did. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #1855 of Dowagiac and the Eagles Lodge of Dowagiac. She also was a member of the “Walkin Guardian Angels” Relay for Life, Cass County Cancer fund.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Rolland Linn, and by one son, Cory (Tangela) Phillips of Ypsilanti and one daughter, Brenda (Nicholas) Spivey of northern Michigan. Also by three stepchildren, Randy (Cathy) Linn and Terri (Carl) Schmidt of Dowagiac and Jackie Linn of South Bend, Indiana. She also is survived by 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She also leaves behind two brothers and four sisters; Albert Easlick and Leonard Easlick, Shirley Roslund, Marjorie Couts, Esther Dailey and Connie Kelly. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Elsie Murgittroyd.

Friends and family will gather on Monday, Dec. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Chapel for a visitation and time of sharing memories. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at Clark Chapel and Cremation Services, 405 Center Street in Dowagiac with Pastor Boyd Saylor of the Keeler Church of God officiating.
