Three people have been arrested after a person was robbed outside the 7 Days Party Place store Wednesday in downtown Niles.

Niles Police were dispatched to the 303 N. 5th St. convenience store at 10:33 p.m.

Police Chief Jim Millin said three black males robbed a customer of cash and property after the victim had come out of the store. At least one weapon, a handgun, was used.

No one was injured.

Using information gathered at the scene, police were able to locate the suspect vehicle at a nearby hotel a few hours later. The suspects were found inside and much of the property was recovered.

The names of the suspects are being withheld until they are arraigned in Berrien County Trial Court later today.
