Bobcats open with 56-44 win over Hartford

The Brandywine boys basketball team opened up the 2014-15 season with a 56-44 non-league victory over visiting Hartford Tuesday night.

The Bobcats (1-0) led 30-20 at halftime and increased their advantage to 14 points (47-33) heading into the fourth quarter.

Zach Schmidt led Brandywine with 13 points, while Chandler Plew added 12 and Vinny Peel 10.

The Indians (0-1) did not have a single player reach double figures.
