Andrew Warren Stevens, 54, of Edwardsburg, passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014.

Andy was born May 28, 1960, to Allen B. Stevens of Edwardsburg, and Margaret Ann (Ketcham) Stevens of Bradenton, Florida. His parents survive. Andy is also survived by his beloved children, Andrew V. Stevens of Colorado, Ashley A. Stevens-Chhuon and Eric A. Stevens, and his son in law, Yar Chhuon, all of Edwardsburg, Michigan. Andy loved and enjoyed his two grandchildren Madeline and Ara. He is also survived by one sister, Mary Ann “Sam” Stevens of Mason, Michigan. He was preceded in death by an older sister, Peggy Stevens, in 1981, and his grandparents, Dr. Cash and Helen (Clough) Stevens and John and Evelyn (Tyden) Ketcham.

Andy attended Stanley Clark School in South Bend and graduated from Marian High School in Mishawaka, Indiana. He received his college degree from Ferris State University in 1983.

Andy’s passion was his family and friends during his fishing trips to Canada and riding his Harley Davidson. He loved the Green Bay Packers and any outdoor activities. Andy worked for several RV companies, including Elkhart Plastic, and, most recently, Al Van Trucking.

In addition, Andy was a “Mr. Fix-It” for many people. Many members of the community benefitted from his acts of kindness. If he could not fix it right he would not do it.

The family would like to thank Donna Gregory and Joe Dolan in particular for their special friendship.
