Brandywine Community Schools is opening Merritt Elementary and Brandywine High School to walkers beginning Nov. 10. Walking will not be available when school is not in session.

The schedule is as follows:

• Merritt Elementary — 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

• Brandywine High — 6 to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday
